These terms are the agreement between you and Bharat Education ("we", "us") for using this website and buying study notes from it. By creating an account or buying a note you agree to them. They are published in English.

1. The service

We sell digital study notes. A note is not a file you download: you read it online, inside our secure reader, as watermarked pages. Each note's page shows its price, its access period and how many free preview pages it has, before you buy.

2. Your account

• You log in with your mobile number and a one-time password. Keep your phone and OTP to yourself.
• Give correct information. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• You must be 18 or older, or use the website with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Licence to read the notes

When you buy a note we give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to read it, for your own study, inside the reader, for the access period shown on the note. The notes remain the property of their authors. You may not:

• copy, download, photograph, screenshot, screen-record, print or scrape the notes or any part of them;
• share your account, or share, post, sell, lend or distribute the notes in any form;
• try to get around the watermark, the device limit or any other protection.

Every page carries a watermark that identifies your account, so any copy can be traced back to it.

4. Access period and devices

Access lasts for the period shown on the note (lifetime, or a fixed number of days from purchase). "Lifetime" means for as long as the website and that note remain available. By default an account can be used on one active device at a time; if you change your phone, contact us and we will help you reset your device.

5. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Indian rupees and are shown on each note before you pay.
• Payments are taken through Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets). We never see your card or bank details.
• The amount you pay is worked out by our system from the current price and any coupon. A price can change at any time, but it never changes for an order you have already paid.
• Access starts once your payment is confirmed. If it is not visible in My Library after a minute, contact us with your order number.

6. Coupons and bundles

• One coupon can be used per order. A coupon has no cash value, may have an expiry, a limit on uses and a minimum cart value, and may apply only to some notes.
• We can withdraw a coupon, and we can refuse one that is misused.
• A bundle gives you every note in it at one price. If you already own some of its notes, you pay only for the rest.

7. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Misuse

If we find or reasonably suspect that you have broken section 3, we may withdraw your access to some or all notes, block your account and take legal action, without a refund. We may also remove access where the law or a court requires it.

9. Availability and changes

We try to keep the website running all day, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, for example during maintenance or because of problems outside our control. We may improve, correct or update a note, and may stop selling a note; if we stop selling one, those who already bought it keep their access for the period they paid for.

10. Study aid only

The notes are study aids prepared with care. We do not promise any particular marks, rank or result, and syllabus or exam patterns can change.

11. Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim about a note is limited to the amount you paid for that note, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be removed.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Maharashtra will have jurisdiction over any dispute, without limiting your rights as a consumer to go to a consumer forum that has jurisdiction over you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the website after a change means you accept the updated terms. A change never affects an order you have already paid for.
